Role: Central Team Administration Assistant

Location: Head Office, Knobsbury Lane, Writhlington

Start Date: February 2026

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time including inset days and 2 additional weeks during the holiday (part time hours may be considered for the right candidate)

Salary: Grade 4 and scale point 7 - 10, £13.69 - £14.35 per hour (full time equivalent £26,403 - £27,694) actual salary £23,900 - £25,068

The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership (MNSP) is seeking a proactive and professional Central Team Administration Assistant to join our growing central office team. This is a pivotal role, providing high-quality clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Trust.

The Role

As a key member of the central team, you will often be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing the Trust with professionalism, warmth and efficiency. You will support a wide range of administrative functions, from managing digital systems to assisting with the coordination of Trust-wide training and events.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing professional telephone support and managing head office visitor protocols.
  • Maintaining the Trust training platform, Google groups, contact lists and the staff portal.
  • Issuing Trust-wide communications and supporting the collation of the weekly Trust Circular.
  • Managing room bookings, stationery supplies and maintaining both paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Assisting with the central safeguarding register for contractors and service providers.
