love tinkering with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machinery, and classic workshop
tools?
As our STEM Engineering & Technology Technician, you won’t just be managing a
workshop—you’ll be the engine behind our students’ biggest moments. You’ll
transform raw timber, metals, and plastics into hands-on learning experiences, keep
a state-of-the-art maker lab running smoothly, and mentor the next generation of
engineers, designers, and innovators.
This role is central to the school’s unique vision: Engineering underpins the success students can make in
the Somerset Studio curriculum, both by supporting students to gain the academic qualifications they
need to pursue their interests, and in developing curiosity, investigative skill and problem-solving,
preparing them for successful careers and lives.
Part Time - 22.5 hours per week
