St Mark’s School is seeking to recruit reliable and professional individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This is a vital role within the school, ensuring that our students can sit their examinations in a calm, fair, and secure environment.
The Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the external examination process in accordance with JCQ regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up examination rooms and ensuring all JCQ requirements are met.
- Supervising the orderly entry and conduct of students during exams.
- Distributing and collecting scripts and examination materials.
- Assisting with the identification and registration of candidates.
- Monitoring student behaviour and supporting those with Access Arrangements.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are punctual, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure. You should have:
- A reasonable standard of education (Level 2/GCSE Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent).
- The ability to relate well to both young people and adults.
- Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
