JOB OVERVIEW
Peasedown St John Primary School based in Peasedown is looking to appoint two enthusiastic and flexible people to support children during the lunchtime period.
Post 1 - The successful candidate will a friendly and reliable team player with an interest in working in the busy hubbub of a large school, responsible for preparing, serving and cleaning multiple lunch servings over the school lunchtime and play period. This is a term-time only position, 5 days per week, 1.5 hours a day - 11.45/12.00 to 1.15/1.30 - plus 7.5 additional working hours. The actual salary is £4,317 to 4,385 per annum in 12 equal payments (£12.85 to £13.05 per hour)
Post 2 - Working during the lunchtime period to support a child with special educational needs. This is a term-time only position, 5 days per week, 1 hour a day - 12.00 to 1.00 - plus 5 additional working hours. The actual salary is £2,878 to £2,923 per annum in 12 equal payments (£12.85 to £13.05 per hour)
Previous experience of working in a school and/or supporting children with special educational needs would be helpful but full training will be given.
