Hours: 30.17 hours per week in total, 39 weeks per year to follow school terms and including 5 Inset Days
Teaching Assistant role: Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 12pm (16.67 hours)
Nurture Group Lead: Monday & Friday 1pm - 3:15pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 1pm - 4pm (13.50 hours)
Teaching Assistant Salary: Grade 1 and scale point 3 – 4, £13.28 - £13.48 per hour, (full time equivalent £25,614 - £26,016) and actual annual salary range £9,915 - £10,070
Nurture Group Lead Salary: Grade 4 and scale point 7 – 10, £14.14 - £14.83 per hour, (full time equivalent £27,274 - £28,608) and actual annual salary range £8,549 - £8,968

We are seeking an excellent Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide invaluable support to both students and staff. The role comprises working in a Year 1 class in the mornings, mainly providing support for an individual pupil. In the afternoons, the successful candidate will take a leading role in our nurture group, planning the learning activities and working alongside other members of the nurture team to ensure the children’s experiences are rich and engaging and enabling the children to thrive.
