Role: School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Location: Peasedown St John Primary School, BA2 8DH.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Closing Date: Wednesday 28th January 2026, at 9.00 am

Hours: This is a term-time only position, 5 days per week, 1.5 hours a day - 11.45 am to 1.15 pm.
Salary: MNSP1, SCP 3 to 4 - £12.85 to £13.05 per hour. Actual annual salary of £4,221 to £4,287
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible person to support children during the lunchtime period. The successful candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working in the busy hubbub of a large school, responsible for preparing, serving and cleaning multiple lunch servings over the school lunchtime and play period. Previous experience of working in a school would be helpful but full training will be given.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop or widen their experience working with young children and is well-suited to those who may have other part-time employment or are returning to the workplace, perhaps after a career break..
