Hours: 8 hours 45 minutes,Monday to Friday. Daily hours between 1.45pm to 3.30pm.  Term Time Only plus Inset Days

Salary: Grade 2 , £25,185 - £25,583 (Actual Salary, £5,117 - £5,198)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, who will support SEN students within the classroom and who can also lead individual/small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities & Main Duties:

  • Attend to the students’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters, as appropriate.
  • Supervise and support students ensuring their safety and access to learning.
  • Establish constructive relationships with students, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
  • Develop a good knowledge of a student's individual special educational needs and implement appropriate strategies as outlined in the students’ profile.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
  • Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
  • Encourage students to act independently as appropriate
